Protected landscape Kolac

The stone of Kolac is protected as a geomorphological natural monument since 1986.  

The stone Kolac has the shape of an arc with a height of about 10m. The rock Kolac is located 2km away from Nerezine on the island of Brac. The name comes from its shape (in Croatian Kolac mean cake) as reminiscent of a cake in the shape of a ring. The Kolac is located between vineyards and is partly covered with ivy. The Kolac was formed by water erosion and wind.
