Loborika, Loborika, Istria

                                Loborika (taliansky Lavarigo) je malý hrad, ktorý sa nachádza 7 km severovýchodne od Puly, v najjužnejšej časti mesta Marcana. Dá sa tam ľahko dostať, pretože sa nachádza severne od letiska v Pule.  

The small village is situated 7 km northeast from Pula, in the direction of the Pula Airport. The place was first mentioned in the 990th . There are some historical remains which can be seen on the outer wall of the parish church. There was bricked a Preromanesque relief of an angel (a symbol of the Evangelist Matthew), who with John’s eagle (in the wall of the local farmer’s house) and the St. Mark’s lion (now Lapidariju Monastery of St. Francis in Pula) belong to the same unit.

In the woods near Loborika you can find the ruins of an early medieval settlement and pre-Romanesque church.

Loborika is known for its equestrian center where you can enjoy horseback riding, cycling clubs, and several traditional Istrian tavern.
